Back in the age of kings, queens and knights, there was one day per year when court jesters, village clowns and other fools could go hog wild, doing and saying things they normally never would to the hoity-toity nobles–until the festival was banned. Now, the fools will reign once again as Interact Center for the Visual & Performing Arts brings the Feast of Fools to The Lab Theater in Minneapolis. A cast of dozens brings to life this topsy-turvy tale of intrigue and redemption, set to a live score by a five-piece orchestra, and led by acclaimed storyteller and NPR contributor Kevin Kling.
