Please read the message below from Founder Jeanne Calvit. Thank you!
Interact is so happy to announce the opening of our first live show since before the pandemic! “We’re Still Here” will premiere at the Minneapolis’ Luminary Arts Center (formerly The Lab Theater) on October 8th and run through October 30th.
We’re asking for your help to keep all of our artists and audience members COVID-safe!
For these past two-plus years of COVID, we’ve worked hard to keep our staff and company of artists with disabilities safe and healthy. Today, we’re extending that success to welcome everyone back to a great show that will touch your hearts, make you laugh out loud, and send you home loving the music, memories, and immense talents of artists with and without disabilities.
Now as we prepare for the show, we need to raise $20,000 to keep us all safe together. And we’re starting off with deepest gratitude to Interact’s longtime friends Jan Symchych and Peter Flint, who committed a $10,000 dollar-for-dollar match on our GiveMN page!
Your support will help pay for:
A trained COVID manager onsite to make sure we all have a safe experience
Daily COVID testing kits for over 40 Interact company members
Fresh daily masks for all of our artists – and for audience members who forget theirs
Your support will make a difference and all you have to do is click on the link below! (you can also watch a quick sneak preview when you go to our GiveMN page) Thank you for contributing today on our GiveMN page, and for helping us reach our $20,000 goal!

Interact’s Artistic/Executive Director/Founder
In October we celebrated our 26th anniversary and it was an overwhelming success! The night highlighted Blockbuster names like Kevin Kling, Robert Robertson, Ivory Doublette, and Sheridan Zuther along with our wonderful artists. The evening was hosted by Emcee Chadwick “Niles” Phillips and the sounds of Ryan Bynum’s Good Vibes band. The Nicollet Island Pavilion was a beautiful venue, and the performances were stellar. Thank you to everyone who came!
